It is developed by Slightly Mad Studios, which is known from the Project CARS series and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. [4] The game was announced during The Game Awards 2019, [5] and its premiere was to take place in May 2020 on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One after the premiere of Fast & Furious 9 cinemas. [6] The COVID 19 pandemic forced however, both jobs are postponed. [7] May 27, 2020. It was announced that the game would be released on August 7, 2020. [8]
